Ooof!

I sure hope that arrogant Zebra didn't see me trip just now. I'll never hear the end of it.

Tea time!

Tell me, Master W., does your locomotive prefer cream with it's tea?

I feel so much better.

There's nothing like a good tune-up at the rail yard to make a locomotive feel refreshed and ready for a new day.

I know it sounds exciting.

I mean, who wouldn't want to live in a car dealership? All those shiny new cars and people constantly coming and going make a toy's life pretty glamorous, right?

The truth is, I'm lonely. We only get a few kids coming through each day, and they never stay for very long. I see them hugging their teddy bears or dolls and all I can think is, "Why doesn't anybody love me like that?"

Can you see the driveway from where you're at?

Master W. should be home any minute. I want to make sure I'm right here where he can see me as soon as comes in the door.

Ohhhh... my tummy hurts...

I should have stopped after the radishes. French beans always make me feel sick. I wonder where Mr. McGregor planted his herbs this year. A bit of parsley will surely help me feel better.

I can't believe it!

Miss C. just promoted me from Fairy Finder to Book Light. And my new job is waaaay better than my old one.

Check this out: I've got a built in flashlight that's always been perfect for tracking down those elusive little forest creatures. But Miss C. saw something more – something special in me – and decided to make me her special nap time reading light. Now I can go on all sorts of amazing adventures with her through the books we read together.

I wonder where we'll go first...

An elephant never forgets.

And this elephant will never forget the indignity of being used as a doorstop. Upside down, no less.

Ever have one of those moments...

... when you have no idea how you ended up someplace?

One minute I'm chugging along the tracks with my buddies, and the next minute I'm way up here on the strangest trestle I've ever seen.

Weird, huh?

Uhhhh... Miss C.?

I thought you said we were going be ride a carousel horse. There's no way this is a horse. Horses don't have scales. Or crazy eyes. Or really sharp teeth.

Whatever it is, I hope it's not hungry...

I don't get it.

A couch is soft and comfy. Apart from the bed (don't even get me started on that one), it's quite possibly the most comfortable place to sit in a home. But if you're a dog, you're likely to be treated like a criminal if you're caught sitting on it.

You'd think people would want their dogs to be comfortable. Instead, most of us are relegated to lumpy dog beds. Why should a dog have to sleep on the floor when there's a perfectly good couch nearby?

Thank goodness I live with Master W. He treats me the way a dog should be treated: like a best friend.

The towel rack! Of course!

For a minute there, I thought Miss C. was really going to put me on some sort of medieval torture device when she told me she was going to put me on "the rack".

Phew!
