I got lost at Disneyland.

About a month ago now. I still think about it sometimes.

Miss C. and her daddy were playing at the Frontier Land shooting gallery. She set me down to test her shooting skills and I guess in all the excitement she forgot to pick me up again when they left to go meet up with her mama and Master W.

It broke my hear to watch her trot away.

Some kind stranger picked me up a few minutes later and took me to a cast member in the pin shop next door. They were so sweet to let me sit on the counter and wait for Miss C. to come back.

It took her about an hour to find me. It was the longest hour of my life. I was so scared, but I knew in my heart she would always come back for me.

And she did.

  1. yikes!!! i imagine that it was quite a dramatic ordeal for miss c as well... (do you guys love the knuffle bunny books?)

    1. It was, once it started to sink in that we might not find him. I was pretty upset, too. He's such a special bear and I was feeling rather heartbroken thinking he might be gone forever. Thank goodness for kind-hearted people!

I hadn't heard of the Knuffle Bunny books... but I'm going to have to see if our library carries them! :)

    2. Seriously, we have special things (blankies around here) and the times they have been misplaced... big drama. But in Disney Land! Oh wow! I'm so glad it all ended well. So I'm thinking the Knuffle Bunny trilogy will be right up your alley. I posted about them back in September

If you get a chance come see and you'll understand what I mean :) I bet your library will have them for sure!

  2. Aww, I'm so glad you were found again. (Love Disney) And thank you for the sweet comment about our furry family member :)

    1. Bear, here. Thanks, Allison, for your sweet comment on my post! I was so scared when she left, but then I just knew Miss C.'s mommy and daddy wouldn't rest until they found me. And I was right!
